Ultra-step-up DC-DC converter for renewable energy applications

This paper suggests a novel LUO-type converter with high gain voltage for use renewable energy sources. The proposed model is constructed by fusing conventional LUO DC-DC two distinct circuits. It intended to six passive components and five diodes. suggested here achieves of seven times the supplied voltage. Significant dc without excessive duty cycle permits lower RDs-on MOSFET switches, resulting in cost savings, non-pulsating input current, ease design operation, single switch transistor driving, line-load common ground. Additionally, low-voltage stress across diode enables Schottky rectifiers reduce reverse recovery increased conduction switching losses reduction. current equations are retrieved “continuous mode (CCM)” “discontinuous (DCM)”. stresses computed on switch. Finally, converter’s performance confirmed simulation experimental findings that corroborate theoretical computation.
